We have witnessed some truly remarkable stories of rebirth and redemption this year. Some may think of the Chilean miners rescued after three months trapped underground. But one rescue that took longer and was far more significant for us Sydneysider's was Jimmy Sing's and Hana Shimada's rescue of GOODGOD Small Club. Negotiating... the minefield of Portugese International law these caped crusaders managed not only to reinstate the back room dive to it's former glory but to take the whole venue over including the renovation and launch of the impeccably featured front bar and supper club! For the first time in years, Sydney has a brand new international quality Dancetaria providing aural pleasures including but not limited too Jingle Jangle, Clambake, Slow Blow, Saturday Night Fish Fry as well as Jimmy's own Dancehall spectacular Everrrrrybody Out!!!

So it's time to end this years space odyssey with aplomb, as Jingle Jangle stalwarts Smokey LaBeef and Smart Casual dust off there cdjs one more time to present you the finest in dirty soul, rhythm and blues, lost pop gems and worldly nuggets as we count down to the last year before the apocalypse - 2011.
